Measure For Measure : February-March 2026

In PCPA’s production of one of Shakespeare’s problem plays and one of my own extreme interest, I’m so grateful to have played Mariana this spring. Our director, Emily Trask, framed this piece with the fictitious St. Mary’s Academy an all-girls Catholic school putting on a production of Measure for Measure. I had the opportunity as a part of my track to open the show as Claire, a top student of the school who introduces the reasoning for these girls choosing to produce this partcular Shakespeare play. With an all femme design team and nonbinary/femme cast, this was a room that amplified our voices and really did allow us to explore the text in what may be closer to the ‘classical’ way than you think.
